World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Item upgrades give players the ability to upgrade equipment that they already own. This can be done by any upgrader for items NPC.
Generally, upgrades increase an item's main stats and provide extra benefits, based on the item type. Examples include Whistan's shield for FB sorcs, or Goldwrap for build casters.
Armour

Most utility items have a passive effect that the player can activate when using them, however, some come with additional capabilities that are triggered when the user presses a button or activates an ability.
